Fresh out of college, Bill pioneered innovative residential design in Oklahoma, building the business from the ground up through unwavering dedication and forward-thinking creativity. His visionary designs have influenced thousands of homes across the state. Among his standout innovations are the Tandem Garage and Walk-About Closets (also known as Australian closets), features that have enhanced modern living and remain popular today.
Though Bill Perry Sr. (1935–2015) is deeply missed, his legacy endures through the strong foundation he created. His family has proudly continued the tradition, carrying forward the same commitment to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction across three generations.

Billy Perry Jr.
Owner & Lead Designer (1977–present)
Billy Perry is the owner and operator of Perry House Plans, carrying forward the family legacy that began in 1959 as Bill G. Perry Family Design Inc. As the company’s manager and lead draftsman/designer, Billy has been a driving force in residential and commercial design since joining in 1977, bringing nearly five decades of hands-on expertise to every project.
Billy started his career on the drafting table, meticulously drawing plans by hand and mastering the art of traditional technical illustration. In the 1980s, he successfully transitioned to CAD (Computer-Aided Design), embracing emerging technology to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and creativity in the design process. This blend of classic hand-drafting skills and modern digital proficiency gives him a deep, well-rounded understanding of the craft.
What further sets Billy apart is his real-world construction experience—he has actively built and worked on both residential homes and commercial buildings, providing a practical, builder’s perspective that informs his innovative and efficient designs. This unique combination ensures that Perry House Plans delivers plans that are not only beautiful and functional but also highly buildable and cost-effective.

Robert Perry
Draftsman & Graphics Designer (2003–present)
Robert Perry is a key member of the Perry House Plans team, continuing the family tradition of excellence in residential design that dates back to 1959. Joining the company in 2003, Robert serves as a skilled draftsman specializing in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and BIM (Building Information Modeling) operations. His technical expertise ensures that every plan is precise, detailed, and ready for seamless construction.
In addition to his drafting and modeling proficiency, Robert is an accomplished graphics designer, bringing creative visual flair to presentations, renderings, and client communications. This combination of technical precision and artistic skill allows him to help transform clients’ ideas into clear, compelling designs.
Robert’s professional standing is further highlighted by his leadership in the industry: he is a past chair of the Colorado Springs, CO chapter of the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD), where he contributed to advancing building design standards, education, and networking among professionals in the region.
As part of the third generation at Perry House Plans, Robert plays an essential role in delivering high-quality custom floor plans, stock designs, and 3D visualizations. His dedication to craftsmanship and client satisfaction upholds the family’s longstanding commitment to innovative, practical, and beautiful home designs for families across Oklahoma and beyond.
Grant Douglas
Certified Professional Building Designer (2000–present)
Grant Douglas is an integral part of the Perry House Plans team, contributing to the family’s multi-generational commitment to exceptional residential and building design since joining in 2000. As a skilled CAD and BIM operator, Grant brings technical precision to drafting, modeling, and plan development, ensuring designs are accurate, efficient, and fully constructible.
A proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Grant combines his education with specialized professional credentials. He is a Certified Professional Building Designer (CPBD) through the National Council of Building Designer Certification, a prestigious designation that recognizes his expertise in ethics, procedures, design-focused styling, structural principles, and construction methods.
Grant’s leadership in the industry is evident through his roles in the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD): he has served as past chair and treasurer, and currently serves as vice chair of the Central Oklahoma Chapter, where he has helped advance professional standards, education, and collaboration among building designers in the region.
